Venus House is committed to providing affordable wellness services, training opportunities, and employment-development support for people in need. Eligible applicants may apply for discounted or free services. All applications are subject to review and approval by Venus House.

Older Adults and Community Members

Older adults who hold any of the following documents may apply for relevant discounts or free places:

• JoyYou Card

• Membership card from an elderly centre

• Referral from a social welfare organisation or non-governmental organisation (NGO)

• Other documents demonstrating a need for support

Discounted and free places are limited. Arrangements will be determined according to individual needs, available resources, and assessment results.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants are required to:

• Complete the application form

• Provide valid identity or membership documentation

• Submit referral information from an NGO or social welfare organisation, where applicable

• Undertake a simple eligibility assessment when required

• Await the review outcome and notification from Venus House

Applications will be assessed holistically, taking into account the applicant’s needs, family and financial circumstances, service capacity, and available community resources. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval for discounted or free services.

Training and Employment Development

Participants in Venus House training programmes who demonstrate strong performance, good attendance, and suitability for relevant roles may be considered for:

• Activity assistant positions

• Part-time instructor roles

• Participation in community workshops and corporate events

• Internship or career-development opportunities

Employment and collaboration arrangements are assessed individually based on course performance, professional qualifications, operational needs, and interview outcomes. Participation in a training programme does not constitute an automatic offer of employment.
